Community leaders are sought to judge for the upcoming Texas DECA State Career Development Conference on February 21st at the Sheraton Downtown Dallas hotel.

This year, we have over 4,200 high school students competing across 50 different competitive events, and we need business and industry leaders like yourself to evaluate the students’ performances and presentations. We have two shifts available: Role Play judges are needed from 7:00 am – 12:15 pm and Prepared event judges are needed from 7:00 am – 4:00 pm. We do provide meals, complimentary parking, and a thank you gift for your time, but the real reward is the students receiving an amazing experience and showing off their skills and acquired knowledge to volunteers like yourself.

These students are tomorrow’s leaders. We have over 14,000 students and advisors as part of our organization across Texas, including 38% of our students preparing to graduate this Spring. Our students are geared to business, marketing, hospitality, finance, and entrepreneurship; however, many continue to pursue degrees in law, medicine, and education to name a few.
