Main Garden
The Pumpkin Village features a record number of 75,000 pumpkins, gourds and squash including the Tom Thumb Pumpkin Patch (pumpkins available for purchase), Great Pumpkin Search, Hay Bale Maze and Cinderella’s Carriage in the Pecan Grove. The gardens are bursting with flowers like zinnias, impatiens, salvia and coleus respond to cooler nights with blazing bursts of color. The thousands of pumpkins bring out the color in banks of chrysanthemums that are layered with ornamental grasses, copper plants and firebush. Autumn is the perfect time of year for a picnic in the gardens or a leisurely walk among 150,000 fall-blooming flowers.

Rory Myers Children’s Adventure Garden Activities
The Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden connects children with nature.  The Garden has over 150 individual kid friendly activities, divided into 17 indoor and outdoor science themed galleries.  The children’s garden features The Texas Skywalk, The Moody Oasis, a Walk in the Clouds and more.

Specific Activities

• Chemistry Labs: Various labs take place around 11AM, 1PM, and 3PM (times could change in the new season)
• Omni Globe Presentation:  The OmniGlobe is a 5-foot sphere designed to display a variety of content, including the Earth, its weather and plate tectonics, our Solar System, and more.  This begins at 2:30PM daily.
• Story time in the Moody Oasis: Guests learn about nature, animals, plants, and other exciting things to see throughout the garden.
