Join Yale Club of Dallas for a casual happy hour before the end of the year!
On Saturday, May 10, 2014 the Yale Club of Dallas will join with other Yale organizations around the globe in celebrating our continued commitment to make our neighborhoods better places through the 2014 Yale Day of Service (“DoS”). This year we have three truly exciting opportunities that will impact our surrounding Dallas community positively. We are excited to partner with two amazing organizations as well as support an alumnus who is opening up his medical practice for the day. Volunteers will have the opportunity to spend a good portion of the day either planting flowers and seeds of wisdom with young men affiliated with the St. Philips School and Community Center located at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, Dallas, TX, or providing support for the “Day of Discovery” activities at the Perot Art Museum located at 2201 N. Field Street Dallas, Texas. Please see the specific description of the events and how to participate below.
This year's annual dinner will be at Company Cafe at Katy Trail on May 1st at 6:30 PM.
Ted Marmor, Professor Emeritus of Public Policy and Management & Professor Emeritus of Political Science, will be speaking. Professor Marmor teaches the Yale Alumni College's course on healthcare policy, the program's most popular offering.
